Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how WinForge ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application at winforge.app.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account
• Payment information: processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
• App content: goals, projects, tasks, habits, and daily reflections you create inside WinForge

Information collected automatically

• Subscription status: your plan type (monthly or lifetime) and subscription state
• Usage data: which features you use within the app, stored in our database to power your experience

We do not use third-party analytics tools, advertising trackers, or error monitoring services that collect your data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the WinForge application
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the app based on how it is used

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. All data is:

• Encrypted at rest
• Encrypted in transit via HTTPS
• Protected by row-level security — only you can access your own data

Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's security standards. We store only your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third-party service providers, and only as necessary to operate the service:

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — you can view all your data inside the app at any time
• Export your data — contact us to request a full export of your data
• Delete your data — you can delete your account from the Settings page, which permanently removes all your data
• Correct your data — you can update your name and account details in Settings

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

If you cancel a monthly subscription, your account and data remain accessible until the end of your billing period, after which your account is downgraded but your data is retained until you choose to delete your account.

7. Children's Privacy

WinForge is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of WinForge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
